MARINE SUPERINTENDENT
Description:
Supervising activities at the quayside, the Marine Superintendent will:
- Develop and maintain a company Marine Operations procedure to ensure that all marine vessels have safety management systems in line with ENS and contractual requirements.
- Warrant efficient port operations by opportune arrangements for berthing, craneage, forklifts and cargo
handling as well as ensuring contractor provision of service is maintained in line with budgetary costs.
- Plan, direct and control offshore logistic operational requirements as well as maximising vessel utilisation and guaranteeing the financially efficient operation of the oil fleet.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Master Mariner Class 1 or equivalent University degree.
- A minimum of five (5) years offshore experience ideally with command experience onboard offshore supply vessels.
- Knowledge of international maritime regulations, Ghanaian Regulatory
requirements, Maritime industry standards and EHS management systems.
- A general understanding of vessel charter market trends as well as good communication and leadership skills.
